Having completed 48 fruitful years of Little Flowers Public School, Yamuna Vihar, which was established by our Founder Chairman and Director honourable sir Sh. D.R. Patel and Smt. C.M. Patel ma’am, celebrated its 48th Foundation Day on 9th May 2022. Our respected Badi ma’am, Mrs C.M. Patel, and all other esteemed dignitaries were welcomed with mellifluous band.
A plethora of performances was performed by the students of class III to VIII. Numerous group dance performances were held for the blessings of lord Hanuman, for welcoming and giving the message of importance of school life, education and time. A motivational and school birthday song was sung. A fusion of Kathak and Lavani dance forms was presented. Afterwards, a soul- stirring dance performance was dedicated to all the mothers. Fortunately, our respected Badi madam’s birthday coincides with school’s foundation day and it was also celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony. The day was also highlighted with the inauguration of computer lab by our respected Badi ma’am and management members.
The astounding visual treat held the audience in awe. The programme was culminated with inspiring notions of our management committee members giving us the message- “Together we make our school a success.”
“When you are looking at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.”
The students of Class 1st and 2nd celebrated Mother’s Day on 6th May 2022 to honour our dedicated mothers, who sacrifice everything in the upbringing of their children.
The tiny tots came up with new and innovative ideas for their cards. They intensely and devotedly spoke about their mothers. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic children preparing something unique, something special. The outcome of their efforts was marvellous. Each card was special and different in its own way. Our Head Mistress ma’am Mrs. Vimmi Jain inspired the children to inculcate virtuous deeds.
All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.
“Birds are cute little winged creatures who never fail to inspire us with their lives.”
To generate the awareness about physical and behavioural needs for improving the welfare of birds, National Birds Day is celebrated on 4th May ever year. Little Flowers Public School, Yamuna Vihar contributed its proportion by conducting numerous class activities on the same day.
Our little saviours of grade I to III prepared birds by using their motor and creative skills. They also expressed their notions by saying few lines relating to their survival and taking care of. A fascinating role play was performed by students of class IV.
For helping and feeding the birds, students of classes V & VI made bird feeders. The little Florians with their colourful bird feeders reminds us of taking care of the basic needs of birds also.
A workshop on nest making was also conducted for classes VII &VIII. The list of activities was followed by instructive speech given by class VIII student.
After knowing the fact that so many birds species are under threat, it becomes more important than ever to uplift public awareness for the needs of birds.
Birds are not only the beautiful and bright jewels of the sky but also serve as the eyes of heaven.
